Kinetotherapy for the shoulder in Cluj: shoulder and arm recovery
Shoulder pain can have its cause in the ankle.
It sounds strange, but it gets tested. I look for the real cause, then we work with P-DTR and kinetotherapy, in a programme.

What it feels like
- Sharp pain when you raise your hand to comb your hair or drink water.
- You can't sleep on the side of the painful shoulder.
- The shoulder “pops” or locks up on simple movements.
- It hurts at the gym when you push or pull.
- You've tried massage or rest, and the pain comes back at the first effort.
The programme is for tendinitis, subacromial impingement syndrome, bursitis, “frozen shoulder” (adhesive capsulitis) and a shoulder that “drops”. And for elbow, wrist and hand pain.
Why the shoulder hurts
Tudor came to me with shoulder pain. Here's what Tudor wrote:
“Mostly out of curiosity, and because I'm generally a sceptical person, I decided to go to some P-DTR sessions too, for pain in one shoulder. All I can say is that after the first session, where it turned out that the shoulder problem comes from some ankle sprains, I started to feel better.”
Okay, but what does the ankle have to do with the shoulder?
The central nervous system uses muscles like tools. It decides which ones work and which ones rest. And what makes it decide is trauma: a sprain, a fall, an accident, an operation. It doesn't matter if it was 5, 15 or 30 years ago.
The body doesn't forget. It remembers the place that got hurt and wants to protect it. So it “switches off” some muscles.
Meaning they no longer work the way they should, and others do their job on top of their own. Sometimes the ones that take over the work are far from the place that got hurt. Even at the shoulder.
That's why I don't just treat the shoulder. I test the whole body, to find where the load is coming from.
What the recovery programme looks like
Biomechanical assessment
About an hour. You tell me what hurts, when it hurts, since when. And what other pain you've had over the years. That's where the gold is.
I test
The big muscles that link the lower body to the upper body. Which ones are weak, which ones are normal, which ones are tense.
I test. I do NOT guess.
P-DTR
I treat the places your body is still protecting, even if you forgot about them long ago. Then I retest on the spot, so you see what changed.
Kinetotherapy
In the kinetotherapy sessions I watch you move. I find out where it hurts, when it hurts, which movement doesn't work. At the next P-DTR session I treat exactly what I found there.
Therapy without kinetotherapy is therapy by guesswork.
How long it takes
A programme lasts about a month and a half to two months. Nothing is rushed.
At around two months we retest. So you see the progress and I know what to change.
I can't tell you in advance whether a programme will solve the situation fully or only partly. That's why we test and retest.
What people say (reviews translated from Romanian)
“I couldn't lift my arm all the way, and any movement caused me pain. […] After a P-DTR session of about 45 minutes, the result was incredible: the pain disappeared, and the mobility of my shoulder improved considerably, so I could lift my arm all the way. Afterwards, I continued the recovery with kinetotherapy sessions and exercises adapted to my needs.”
“My right shoulder doesn't hurt anymore! […] It had hurt for years, especially when I did bench press or biceps exercises.”
I don't promise anyone the same result. It depends on the situation. That's why we test.
What it costs
-
The first step: the biomechanical assessment 200 RON
About an hour. This is where we find out where your pain starts. The assessment is paid separately from the programme.
-
Essential Programme 3.000 RON
4 P-DTR sessions and 6 kinetotherapy sessions. For a single area, like the shoulder, elbow or hand, with no other problems, this is the one I recommend.
-
Extended Programme 4.500 RON
6 P-DTR sessions, 10 kinetotherapy sessions and weekly check-ins. It can be paid in two instalments of 2.250 RON.
-
Intensive Recovery 8.100 RON
10 P-DTR sessions, 20 kinetotherapy sessions, a 3-month nutrition plan and monitoring. 2.700 RON per month, for 3 months.
We choose the programme together, after the assessment. I guide you and suggest options, and you choose.
We don't work with the Romanian public health insurance (CNAS), so referral notes can't be used here.
Contraindications
We don't start the programme if you have:
- acute fractures or recent malunions.
- complete tendon tears, which urgently need surgery.
- joint infections or severe acute inflammation, with redness and local heat.
Questions about the shoulder
I have tendinitis. What do you do differently?
Tendinitis is the place where the problem shows. I look for why the tendon is overloaded: which muscle isn't working on time and what is stopping it.
Can I go to the gym with a painful shoulder?
It depends on what shows up in testing. Which exercises work and with what weights, we find out there.
Can I try just one session?
You can, there's a single P-DTR session too, at 600 RON. But one session on its own can't know everything that needs treating. That's why I work in programmes.
I live in another city. Is it worth the trip?
People have come from Reghin, Târgu Mureș, Sibiu and Oradea. The harder something is to get, the more you want it.
